Are you sure it is only Kapersky anti-virus and not Kapersky firewall also? It is often packaged together, it was for me.

robinepowell January 20th, 2013 09:44 AM

Probably. My mother bought the CD in 2011 and she's currently in possesion of it.

In that case you could be dealing with two firewalls. One of which is blocking LW. We still wish to know your system details. ;) You are anonymous here thus no big deal about providing system details as the forum rules require for connection problems. :)

Well I checked and didn't see a Firewall listed in the control panel, but it's probably there.

I gave you the info, not sure what else you want?

You are in breach of the forum rules, re-read them re: connection problems. :) Sorry but the forum cannot help you any longer.
You have been asked for your system details a few times over past 6 months.

Waste our time? Sorry but you either comply or the issue and thread is closed.

My last reply, else I will close the thread topic within the next day or two. I am replying, in history past, helpers would simply get to this point and ignore any further posts.

robinepowell,

Please click on the blue 'system details' link in LOTR's last post - then you'll see the details that we need. The Forum Rules clearly state that users should provide their system details ;)

If you could provide that information, it might help us to help you!

Also, if you go to Control Panel > Action Centre > Security... does more than one firewall show?

Thank you, I didn't see the link. I did actually provide some of that info yesterday.

I have to repeat this part again. I don't know if I have a firewall, I can't find it, if it's there.

I am still looking for hard drive space and will have to get back to you. No idea where it is at the moment.

robinepowell January 20th, 2013 11:19 PM

Apparently I have a Windows Firewall.

I can't find where to look for the hard drive space, ram, so that's up in the air.

I have wireless modem, because I'm in an apartment, the internet is Bell. It's a wireless modem that plugs into the wall. I have one other person who has a laptop. The modem/internet says Bell120, though I don't know if that's what you're looking for.

I am not using Limewire, LOTR, you suggest a version of Frostwire and didn't tell me if Frost Five was good or not.
