 Millhouse wins the prize here! He points out that LimeWire does in fact use 100%+ of most users upload bandwidth. Because upload bandwidth is generally less than download bandwidth on cable modems and DSL, this issue is generally mute. I believe that our newer versions will set unlimited upload bandwidth by default as well. Millhouse also points out correctly that users could have a problem surfing with lots of bandwidth being used up. This will be less of an issue in the future but I think a low bandwidth consumption toggle might be good. p.s. Having more descriptive subjects is more useful to the community. -greg  |
