Remember, in this forum you will most often see posts from people who have had problems using LimeWire or other p-p software. You don't see how many people use these programs with little or no trouble. Often, postings reveal that the user has been enjoying the program for years and only recently encountered a problem (which may be caused by their ISP, firewall, etc). If you play safe, as advised in the stickies, you too may enjoy countless hours of music and videos that are shared on the network.
