Buying Pro isn't going to guarantee that all games you download will work, or that all movies you download will play. The network is what it is...the fake/misnamed/infected files are there & buying Pro can't make them disappear. You'll still have to be careful of what you download & scan all files with your AV before opening.

There is no bundled software with Pro - no extras. Some scam sites sell Pro plus antispyware, accelorators etc. Some scam versions of Pro might contain malware. The official Pro (just like the official basic) is free of malware. It's clean.

My choice for playing video files is VLC (free). It has codecs installed & will play most file types. It'll play music files too. If you'd like to try it, check out the link below. Choose the nearest mirror site for download

For music I use iTunes. Winamp's good, it's personal choice really...there are a few good players around! If you use the forum search, you'll probably find a heap of threads with other peoples opinions :wink:

You should really try the basic version for a while I think, before going to Pro. Get to know how everything works. There's no refund if you buy Pro & don't like it.
