When i open limewire, i see the limewire box, but then it closes. I have done everything i can possibly think of or find on the internet. I have uninstalled lw, quicktime, all programs since it stoped working, and checked my java.

• Java is at the latest version
• I deleted the app data folder
• reinstalled limewire
• checked for alcohol drivers
• tried reinstaling in a new folder
• restarted

I have done everything i could find on this site and many others, nothing seems to work.

I have never had any problems before now, but if it helps, my VUZE isn't working either.

when you say you deleted the app.data folder I hope you mean you deleted the Limewire folder inside the app.data folder -- have you got any alcohol software on your computer if so try this link (http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...opening.htmles) -- if that doesn't work try this ----you must have NORMAL Font Size chosen for the complete Install Dialog Box and its Next, Back, etc buttons to show. To change Font Size in Windows XP Home, right click on an empty space on the DeskTop, choose Properties, Appearance, Font Size. Choose NORMAL --- If all of this fails in LIMEWIRE links below click on (Fixes for lw when lw isnt operating as it should ) and go through these fixes.
