Another 'newbie' type question I'm afraid, but when any of the incomplete downloads are inactive (eg it says 'need more sources' or 'awaiting sources' etc), does Limewire keep looking for new sources, or does the user have to force a new search (eg by right-clicking the download and clicking 'resume download' or 'seach for new sources', etc)?

If it is automatic, why is a manual option also available - is it because the auto search is quite infrequent?

If so, is it possible to change how frequently Limewire searches for more sources?

Afaik you'll need to get sources manually (for those files displaying "need sources"), which will start a timer with 300sec. (if I'm not mistaken). If there aren't any sources available, the display will switch to "Awaiting sources". From there on LW will automatically check the network for suitable sources online.
But there is nothing you can change at the configuration to increase the frequency of those checks (again, afaik).
