Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

That's one technique of adding them. Might not be totally reliable though not sure.

Try the other techniques of adding songs to iTunes such as opening your download folder using the Explore button & drag-drop them onto iTunes Library icon above the How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link} playlists.
