Mac OSX Problems with installing LimeWire or WireShare for Mac OSX users |

![]() Hi there, Although I don't have a Mac, perhaps I can shed some light on this problem, as I've also had LAX issues on my Linux/x86 box. Anything mentioning LAX is referring to "LaunchAnywhere", a piece of software used for making installers and launchers for java programs. I had a problem (on the Linux board) with a mistake in the LimeWire/LimeWire.lax file. Maybe your problem is also to do with this. Check that this line is present (and that lax.main.class does not point to anything else): lax.main.class=RunLime Also make sure that there is a file called: lax.jar In your LimeWire directory. I hope this points you in the direction of a solution, or at least a more informed message to LimeWire technical support :-( |
