Default Limewire and OS X 10.4.9

Ok, I tried all the fixes with the Firewall and I still get one Bar in my mac .

To make it easier here is my info:

1. OS version? 10.4.9
2. What firewalls you have? OSX Firewall
3. How much ram? 512
4. Hard Disk space available? 37
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) DSL
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? 2wire
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? House
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. LW 4.12.11 Java 1.5.0_07
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)? PRTC
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? Your test worked!
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. No
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. it worked perfect in my old iMac n thi same system
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? Yes

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? It worked with my other mac so it should be good to go.

PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall & look for 2wire near top left. However those instructions are for windows. So you will need to adapt them or else, find a manual or instructions from their online help site for mac users.

If you have your osx firewall turned on, did you configure it to allow LW? OSX Firewall settings for Tiger

For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you.

Remember, the files are only transfered to your download folder once they are 100% completely downloaded. The partial downloaded files are stored in your incomplete folder. If you don't find all files there, then you may have chosen save as without realising into a different location. That option is normally only used in certain cases.

If still in doubt, using OSX's Finder search .mp3 or .m4a & see where they all lead to.
