Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

LW 5 is not compatible with OSX 10.4 unfortunately due to the earlier Java version Jaguar uses.

You will need to revert back to LW 4, recommended is LW 4.16 but your choice of course. Before you install you will need to remove the install limewire.pkg file from the Receipts folder else OSX will prevent you from installing an earlier version.
