I hope you updated your Java like I suggested earlier.

Can you please answer these questions:

1. Which model of mac are you using?
2. How much RAM do you have?
3. How large is your hard disk drive & how much available disk space do you have?
4. Which 3rd party disk utilities do you have?

The more we know the easier it will be to try (at least) to find a solution.
