The option to click an a file that is downloading and seeing what speed you are getting from what host, and then the option to remove the hosts you are getting like 1 KB/s from making room for faster hosts. It's not funny getting 15 KB/s from 10 hosts

Also the option to devide your upload speed between video and others, so that people that are just waiting for a song don't have to wait until someone has finished downloading a 500+ MB videofile before getting to download

Video Preview

I'd like to add my vote for a video preview box (like DAP has).

It's seems like a big oversight that it isn't already a standard feature.

Sleepless June 11th, 2006 07:49 PM

Why would you want that. You just rightclick on the file and press preview

Greendyker June 11th, 2006 07:56 PM

Yeah, but it has to open your media player specially to play video. It would be much better to have a small screen in the corner of limewire itself.

I still don't understand why you would want that. There are a lot of other features that need to be implemented in Limewire

But OK it's a request :)

Another one occurs to me.

I wonder if thumbnail previews of image files might be feasible for future builds? (a la explorer)

Tell me if ive already posted this

BUt what about a search bookmark option and a completed download notifier in the system tray?

gel-e-tap June 22nd, 2006 10:39 PM

if this has been requested before, i'm sorry (i know i go on other message boards and get a little annoyed when someone asks something already asked). i can't really get specific because i don't know a lot about limewire, so how about a "random" feature?

stief June 23rd, 2006 05:10 AM

As in "choose a random file to download"?

If so, that sounds like the "What's New" type search.

gel-e-tap June 23rd, 2006 10:23 AM

No; launch random-selected audio files you've already downloaded.
