After about an hour of LimeWire I get an average of about 100/10 KB

I think that is quite good when the speedtest was little more

only thing is my up connection gets affected by how fast Im downloading and Its never close to 29 KB even when downloading slowly. While downloadspeed often go at maximum and over so it starts to jump (between 146 and about 60 up and down and up and down) my limit is set at 120 so I don't know why.

I also can't add new files to the network. I have tried asking friends of mine to search for some specific files that only I have, But the results don't come up. A bit strange cause the files have been hashed or what its called. They are not red anymore. Think thats kinda strange :confused:

There are so many people on the Gnutella net that the odds of your Friends being able to find your files are slim especially if no one else have them you might try direct connect. Look at the bottom left corner of the search column click on direct connect it will tell you the address for your friends to enter to connect to you.Then you can share your files with them.

But these are files that noone else is sharing, and none exept the spam results show up, and maybe a few others maybe like 35-40 in total, shouldn't they show up then ?

I am firewalled and curently locked out from my router, so "Direct Connects" don't work well for me :mad:

I have yet to have problems and I use basic. Its just that I feel Bearshare is faster for me than Limewire. I have never had anything go wrong with the program its self. Then again, Im not a heavy downloder, I just share my music. ;)

Im gonna try sharing my entire music folder just to see if any off them are uploading if not then something definently is wrong

There is definently something wrong

9 out 10 uploads fail before completion and not only With LimeWire. I tried the same thing with FrostWire, and there more than half of the uploads failed, but still better than with LimeWire
