Okay, so I downloaded this program called Irfan view so that I could easily resize pictures from my digital camera. So every image that I pull up, pulls up through Irfan View. This is never a problem except when I want to preview a video file I am trying to download. I can get the file to play and hear the sound but not see the pic. Says that it can not find 'vids:mp43' decompressor. Well I dont care about that. I just want to use my windows media player 10 to play my movies. So how do I set it to be my default player?

Might be a codecs issue....
You could try to use a different media player such as the free VLC player with built-in codecs which can play almost all media files without problems. You can download it from here:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
As a side note, to preview files with it you'll have to open the files directly from the Incomplete folder and not via the LW preview function.

yeah but thats the last thing i need is to download yet another program when i have a prefectly good one that I just dont know how to use as my default player you know?
