Hi Mark,

I have an 8 year old & 11 year old - I don't let them use LW full stop. Even if you do teach your kids how to update your AV & use it to scan all downloads before they open them, IMO there are way too many fake/misnamed/nasty files on the network for kids of that age to ever be able to effectively weed out. It's hard enough for most adults

If you do want your kids to use LW, I think you need to supervise them. Just my opinion.

Thanks Blackhorse and Birdy, together with other comments I think I have my answer - I will block everything i can and talk to them about why I don't want them accessing these sites. Their computer is not in their rooms so its not so easy to hide stuff also it brings them into the picture vis-a-vis responsibility and decisions. Lets hope I am not being too liberal / naive!!!!!!!
