There are frequent untruths and general negativities posted here which are of benefit to no one.

The vast majority of posters here are really great people who are here to help each other and learn.

okay, lets forget it. But I think my problem with you is that you are like Seinfeld TV show. you eighther love it or hate it. Without wanting to insult you, I wish you would be more friendly, no artificially played merryness and no use of animated signatures. That's not to annoy you, not to force you my will, it's a "please".

There are 1.000s of people using Gnutella clients who are confused, dismayed and frustrated, and you are here worrying about a sig.

So forcing registration isn't the solution.

How about a link that sends e-mail to all the mods or something that the mods can easily click on so that those who want to post something important can but still remain anon?

The other thing I want to know is if someone spent their time writing some code for this, would it get used? Are you open and able to test & modify this code? If a patch file was generated can you figure out how to apply it? Is this the "full version" for the software? Is it the latest release? Has there been any mods applied so far?

CycloCide is the only one who can decide this, perhaps you should send him a mail and ask him about this...

AFAIK that is the full version and its the latest release.

I think about registration, unfortunately you can't put moderators on your ignore list (i mean one special mod, not Morgwen, Kath, Paradog etc).

For someone who spends so much time here, and who posts as much as you, I think the best would be to register and end this pointless discussion. Registering makes you more friendly, believe it or not, because we can see your "face" instead of being a stranger. About the animated gifs in the signatures, I don't see the problem.
