Good points, everybody can add if they take a second to look at the file sizes. This "skreetching sound" on his jam-packed MP3 disc feels like more a function of his portable player, after considering the likely delivery mechanism.

It wasn't until probably around 2003 that all the CD players manufactured could read 'home burned' discs, and it wasn't until 2008 that I decided it was 'safe' for me to try to burn one! --I couldn't take the Vinyl out of the mix for years. Portability, and convenience are the main benefits as a iPod nano can hold a big box full of cassettes, more than you want rolling about in the car. Additionally, I don't think all pre-recorded music needs to be high quality. I rather like some songs that end abruptly: [buy the damn album!] But, the main thing about trading MP3's is that we are rapidly making the nuiance of our world's disperate cultures more assessible to all.

I would burn you guys a really hip CD, but I can't decide what to put on it!!
