GPS devices have been embedded in cell phones for over 10 years...sure, you couldn't use them, but others could...
present day technology enables 'them' to turn on the mic on the phone and listen in...ANYTIME THEY WANT, WHETHER THE PHONE IS TURNED ON OR NOT!
sorry..just had to clarify that issue..its certainly not limited to iPhones..its all phones....
