Make sure LW is added to your XP firewall if that's what you are using as a firewall. Sometimes you need to remove the firewall listing for LW with different versions & then re-add LW as an exception. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...-firewall.html

Also, check for any Java updates. You should only have a single version of Java on the system, if there are cross-versions it can cause problems; Reinstallation Technique; re: re-installing Java if you find more than one version. Running CCleaner will help too.
