![]() hi everyone..i'm sure i'll find the answer here...i have too...lol...ok,i'm running windows xp-home...along with lw-5.5.8..80g harddrive,512 ram forgotten the rest but its fine....i just seem to be stuck behind my firewall.i'v been running lw about 4 yrs and this is first time i've had a problem...i apologise if i havent left enough info but i've been at this near on 7 hours and well not happy jan...lol(its a ref. to an aussie commercial) so i would appreciate any assistance...yours truly....flashg... p.s...it also says i cant firewall transfer and it only gives me a medium connection at best...but not always....so i'm downloading torrents ok but only the ones that were started....pretty sure thats it...thanks. ![]() Make sure LW is added to your XP firewall if that's what you are using as a firewall. Sometimes you need to remove the firewall listing for LW with different versions & then re-add LW as an exception. ![]() Also, check for any Java updates. You should only have a single version of Java on the system, if there are cross-versions it can cause problems; Reinstallation Technique; re: re-installing Java if you find more than one version. Running CCleaner will help too. |
