okay, thanks :) I was in the process of downloading but I didnt really want the ask toolbar :/

I just downloaded Frostwire and made it through the installation with zero problems. now that im starting the program, its doing the same as limewire and just sitting there... so its not a problem with the files i downloaded or that were left on my computer, it seems to be my computer itself. maybe java? any ideas.

Well I tried to redownload it and Now i have same problems as I did with limewire. This really is a weird problem. something on my computer not allowing or not there that limewire/frostwire needs to initialize? I really need help on this one.

Do you have Alcohol installed? Have you tried changing the program compatibility mode to Win 2000 or NT, etc. to see if it makes any difference? Fixes for Limewire (click on blue link)

I just took out all of my limewire folders completely, and made sure I had music and stuff backed up incase i lost. So im gona try to start from scratch

And still dosent initialize :/ hmm. let me try this preference thing again. also I did update my java to most recent. should I try a different version?
