I can't get it to work (shuts down after search screen loads)

I have tried and tried to use my newly downloaded version of Limewire.I followed all of the instructions .I try and run the program and I get the search screen for about 5 seconds and then it disappears.

Anyone know why?

I am using Windows XP.
