 Uninstalled Limewire trying to open itself? Virus? Okay...I un installed LimeWire but for some reason it keeps trying to come up along with this error message... LimeWire version 4.16.6 Java version 1.6.0_01 from Sun Microsystems Inc. Windows Vista v. 6.0 on x86 Free/total memory: 31372320/33357824 com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.GUILoader$StartupFailed Exception: .\lib\hashes (The system cannot find the file specified) at com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.GUILoader.sanityCheck(G UILoader.java:286) at com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.GUILoader.load(GUILoade r.java:57) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Nativ e Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknow n Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Un known Source) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source) at com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Main.main(Main.java:44) STARTUP ERROR! | It's probably a virus. Try the fix in this thread: To fix the limewire keeps popping up / no taskmanager bug do the following AVG(free) might be able to fix it. Be sure to update it before you scan your computer: AVG Free Advisor: AVG Anti-Virus Free, then follow the prompts.

| Already Answered. Uninstalled LW and Error keeps popping up This Guy seems to be a little Thick. Now he has Double Posted and doesn't appear to want too try the fixes that were suggested.

| Yea, sounds like your infected. Try the Fixes below that 6 Pac suggested. It's probably a virus. | another question remoc.i managed to get limewire out.it doesnt try to come up anymore.i have reinstalled java.computer sluggish.errors popping up on screen realtime virus scan-backdoor trojan and downloader.still scared to download limewire.need help bad! |
