understood, how do I update the computer and your operting system? I am a bit new to the internet, I got all the crital upates for the windows. do I buy more memorie?

the easy way is to buy a new computer -- even a good 2nd hand one with windows XP SP2 -- your operating system windows 98 is very old and I dont know how long it will be supported by Microsoft. Another way is to buy some more ram/memory for your old computer -- if you know somebody who can install it for you this will save abit of money. Get a price from the computer shops before you make up your mind.
