Uninstall LW do it via Start menu -> Programs -> LW -> Uninstall.
Download/run this utility (
crap cleaner) now reinstall limewire using this version (
Download ‘Other’ version & simply unzip & use!) Please ensure that you have Java installed. Use the OFFLINE installers for Java for safety. Use this link to download java if required -- download the latest version (Java downloads for all operating systems) In your add/remove programs you should only have 1 version of java -- if more than 1 delete the older version -- Let us know how you get on.
