Still can't get connected with Windows 98

Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

Still can't get connected with Windows 98

How do I get connected to Limewire on Windows 98? I beleive I have no standard firewall on my computer and I have no second party firewall. Does anyone know whats wrong? I have tried to use some of the advice that I have received but I really don't get all that stuff.

I'm really not that much a computer whiz. Limewire says "Starting Connection" but it never does. I don't know whats wrong? I have tried using random port numbers but still nothing. Is it something to do with my router or modem. Or my IP address. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!
