my connection never gets strong enough to where i can download anything, then evrytime i try a note pops up that im still trying to connect , why is that? |
Do you see the firewall icon (brick wall)? Have you configured your software firewall? Make sure to only use 1 firewall! You'll find a link for firewall config in the thread below, as well as lots of info about connection problems Connection problems? Check here first! Do the port test & see what result you get. Check out the info about enabling UPnP & port forwarding - you might have to use one or the other to configure your modem/router. If you're still stuck, post back with your details... the connection problems thread'll tell you what info we need:wink: |

Hmmm...you've also asked for help via a PM, which I've answered. Try to be a bit patient please, we are all volunteers here. This is a thread for people who can't connect, not for people with installation problems. |
why i can't preview the videos that i.... why when i press preview for a clip or video i can't see nothing when before it was doing it can somebody help me whit that?????:bangh: :bangh: :bangh:  |
For previewing vidoe files (including clips) LW usually uses your default meadia player and not the integrated player in LW. Maybe your default player has an codecs issue...... You could try to use a different media player such as the free VLC player with built-in codecs which can play almost all media files without problems. You can downlaod it from here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ As a side note, to preview files with it you'll have to open the files directly from the Incomplete folder and not via the LW preview function. :Smilywais: |
Rather than disabling your firewall, make sure that you're only using 1 software firewall (remember, XP has it's own ) & that it's configured properly. Read through the sticky below, it has a lot of tips & advice for solving connection problems Connection problems? Check here first! If you're stuck, post back with your system details (post #2 of the sticky shows the info we need). |
