Fix for inability to connect
 

The Fix from Limewire did not fix my problem with not being able to connect - my operating system is Windows XP --- I hope this gets corrected soon.:confused:

If you reinstall do you have to pay the fee again?:confused:

That was a whole lot easier than downloading another version (my third in a week). And since i didn't really have any preferences to begin with, I don't have anything to worry about. Thank you!

Fixed it
 

I am running XP Pro and my I used the uncheck "run at start up" method and that worked. I had tried before, but it didn't work because I never pressed the apply button after unchecking it. This may be other people's problem also.

i have osX. just upgraded to 10.3. im also behind a school network, but never had any problems before. upgraded limewire and now it wont work. same problem as stated above. ideas?

This worked immediately for me. I am on XP, and also lost connectivity after about 4 days, but this fixes the prob. THANKS!

This worked the first time I did it, but now doesnt work at all I have tried 6 times now. What else can be done???
