 Connecting Issues Thanks for the help, but the setting up a static IP address is pretty complex. the port forwarding stuff looks easy. I was able to connect when I removed the router, (so it is the router) but that is a pain to have to keep removing it and of course when I do the other computers in the house can not connect to the web. Just curious, how come this was not a problem in the past. I have not changed my router and it use to work 6 months or so ago. Does a previous version of LimeWire still work without setting up a static IP address? If so, can I get a link to that version and use it? Thanks for the help.  |
