I downloaded the update for security and now all is corrupt.

Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

Did you uninstall LW via:Start menu -> Programs -> LW -> Uninstall.Then download and run this utility: (CCleaner - Home) Now download LW using this version by LOTR: (http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...installer.html)
Be sure you have Java installed. Use the OFFLINE installers for Java for safety.
