Limewire unexpectedly quits

Basicly LW unexpectedly quits randomly i have not been able to link it to anything
i am running OS 10.3.2
this has happened when there are no other programs running it happens most when it is on screensaver but not always

can anyone help me?

Can you run System Preferences->Software Update? Currently 10.3 is at 10.3.5

Follow that with a safe boot (hold down the shift key on a system restart), repair permissions using Disk Utility, and restart again.

A down & under mun. lol Screensavers were notorious for causing problems on macs in the past. But for OSX I'm not sure. Personally I can't afford to have mine set to auto start b/c of video processing I do. So if I leave my comp, I turn the monitor off.
Make sure you have the most recent version of Java. Restart you comp doing a Safe start & repair permissions using Disk Utility. It's generally wise to repair permissions after installing new softw. See: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...6094#post96094 (permissions)

Are you attempting to use LW in the Classic environment? Not very wise to. How much ram do you have? Unfortunately, java for Mac is not very ram efficient & arguably has a bit of a memory leak.

Oh how many threads have you got going here, lol. I've combined them!

Follow LOTR's links to get info on the safe boot.

If you open Console (it's in your Utilities Folder), the next time LW crashes you should see an error report there. Either message one of us with the log, or just post the first few lines here.

btw--your machine should have logged all those previous crashes: you can view them with Console's File->Open Quickly and look for CrashReporter

When you installed OSX did you install the BSD package?
