some cookie type gadjet, wont it just send the info when you turn the http block off after PG and LW are not in use?

That is why tou have anti-spyware apps such as Ad-Aware SE, Spybot and MS Anti-Spyware to get rid of those spying cookies.

If your running LW and using the internet at the same time, then it would be a good idea to run pg while your surfing. Then you'd either have to allow certain sites or allow http. i don't do a lot of d/ling so it doesn't slow me down that much.

If pg blocks a site and you want to allow it, just click on the pg icon in the system tray and it'll open up and the blocked ip will be hi-lited. Then right click on it and you'll have the option to allow it for 15 mins, 1 hour, or permanetly. If your not sure just allow it for 15 mins and see if it lets you into the site.
