Limewire 4.16.7 won't re-install

Hello: noticed, yesterday, that once connected only able to get 1 bar and that I now am hidden behind a firewall. Temporarly disconnected firewall and avg yet firewall indication is still there and bar is still at 1. Removed limewire 4.16.7 and tried to re-install but now it won't install. Keep getting notice that file is corrupt, tried to re-install as per instructions but that doesn't work.
Using Windows Xp SP2
Does anybody what's happening or have a fix ??

When you say, "As per instructions...", does that mean you have tried this > If LimeWire Will Not Load ?

have 1G of ram, 92% space avail on 250 G Hard drive .cable connection,home computer, windows firewall .
Lime wire will not load when advised that file is corrupt and am asked to download and install LW again.

Followed advise to go to My Documents and to remove the Limewire folder and since then I have had no problems connecting to LW

I am trying to put limewire basic on my other laptop and it is telling me that the program is corrupted and can not download. What do I need to do so I can get the free basic instead of paying for the pro right now?

uninstall LW via Start menu -> Programs -> LW -> Uninstall.Download and run this utility: (http://www.ccleaner.com/)Now try this link by zab (http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe) if that link doesn't work try this by lotr (http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...installer.html) Check that you have Java installed. some versions of Java run better on some people's computers than other versions.
